Staying at this ryokan was a delightful experience. The rooms were spacious with 2 toilets, providing a comfortable stay, although not extravagantly luxurious. The view overlooking the garden was stunning, and the Japanese-style design with a sitting area and tatami room was a unique touch. The service was exceptional, with a seamless kimono exchange system and everyone dressed in traditional wear. The location was convenient, close to Yumoto station and offering picturesque views along the onsen street. The dining experience, while good with a variety of Japanese and Western meals, may feel early for a 10 am checkout. The facilities catered well to guests' needs.

I found my stay at the ryokan to have its ups and downs. The rooms were cozy and modern, but the family-only policy seemed unfair. The location was convenient for exploring Hakone and enjoying the scenic views, although a bit of a walk from town.
